Copper Earrings

The copper earrings were a natural extension to the pendants. Becky at the Stonington gallery also suggested that I try to make some earrings so this is my first attempt. The process is basically the same as making the pendants however they are considerably smaller and working with them on the anvil takes a bit more care.

I used two copper jump rings to connect the copper to the earring hook. This is so that they hang correctly and face outward. Getting the convex shape on the top half of the copper is a bit of a challenge with the thickness of copper sheet that I am using (.032"), I might try a slightly lighter gauge of copper on my next itterations. Overall I am quite pleased with the results.
