Graduated from BCIT Mechanical Engineering... I am a Mechanical Designer and Certified Fluid Power Specialist with the IFPS. Not married but living with my girlfriend of 3 years, no children. I have changed allot (I think) since high school. My persona has done a 180, I used to be shy and aloof and missed several opportunities because of it. Now I am outgoing and usually people revolve around me... I'll Yap your ear off if you let me, read on you'll see. I pretty much look the same i.e.. I look young which has caused a few problems, people don't take you seriously. Presently I am a contractor in the Movie industry Coordinating Special Effects and Model Making ( Props, and sets ). Using my skills forming and molding metals, plastics, clay and rubber; I can create whatever is required from Production Designers and Art Directors. Often this also incorporates electronics and programming microcontrollers, LED's, servos and radio control for Animatronics. I Built the first "Hoverdrone" for "Dark Angel". I have built and operated the Periscope in Langley's VW Van on "The Lone Gunmen". I have the molds for "Becca" and "Tier's" guns from "ANDROMEDA". Recently worked on vacuum forms for forming plastic sheets to clad the sets of "BABYLON 5 - LEGEND OF THE RANGERS". As well, I rented them 3 backlit monitor panels mounted on aluminum arms they ere in the Medical Bay. I have done several commercials BF Goodrich, Degree Antiperspirant... I have worked with stars like Denise Richards in the Thriller "Valentine", John Voight in "Unleashed", "The Lone Gunmen" - Dean Haglund, Tom Braidwood, Bruce Harwood... The hours are long the pay is usually very good, sometimes you get screwed(money wise)... The work is sparatic and demanding right now but should improve as I make my way through the union. This is the only job(career) that I have ever pursued that is always different and challenging while being financially fulfilling. I get easily bored by most average jobs as my mind needs change and or varying challenge in order to reduce the urge to move on. well that was probably boring but it's my life. feel free to contact me my email is listed and my URL for my cheesy website is listed but sometimes changes and sometimes the server is down... at the website you can see my work I need to update it but it is there...
